"I can’t say for sure if this..."
I can’t say for sure if this is the norm since it was just my experience, but the staff came across as kind of unprofessional. The replies I got felt a bit rude, and I didn’t really feel like they were trying to be helpful.

"Had pretty much everything we needed"
The cabin had all the stuff they said it would, like the hot tub, Wi-Fi, full kitchen, and extra blankets. I checked the amenity list before booking and it was simple enough to figure out what was included. Basically, nothing weird popped up when we got there, which was nice

"The cabin itself was okay, nothing..."
The cabin itself was okay, nothing amazing but fine enough. The hot tub was the big disappointment though — it looked dirty, smelled kind of weird, and the water was cloudy, so we barely even used it. For what we paid, that was really frustrating. It also didn’t help that there wasn’t really any human contact or anyone to talk to in person about it, which made the whole thing feel even more annoying

"Fast, no-fuss help at the cabin"
We ran into a small maintenance issue at the cabin, and Destination Big Bear handled it the way you’d hope, quickly and without turning it into a whole ordeal. They sent someone out fast, he was friendly, and he got it fixed without any drama. Things happen, especially with a rental cabin, so it was nice to see them respond in a practical, straightforward way. Really appreciated it

"Our Dog Basically Had the Vacation of His Life"
We had such a great stay! The cabin was clean and cozy, booking was super easy, and our dog absolutely lost his mind in the best way. i think he had a better vacation than we did. Such a perfect spot if you’re bringing a pup along

"Nice family stay, but trust your gut on the details"
We booked a cabin for a weekend with the kids, and overall it was a good stay. There was plenty of room for everyone, the area was quiet, and my family really enjoyed being there. That said, a few things felt a little worn, and the check-in instructions were more complicated than they needed to be. I had a feeling it might not be as smooth as expected, and that turned out to be right. Not a bad place at all, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more polish.

"Smooth snowy trip with just a small hiccup"
We booked through destinationbigbear.com and overall had a really nice stay. There was fresh snow during our trip, and the road info they shared was super helpful and accurate, which made the drive up way less stressful since we knew what to expect. The only small thing was that I still felt a little nervous checking conditions because snow can change so fast, but that’s not really on them. The cabin was easy to get to, the driveway was totally manageable, and everything worked out well. I’d definitely use them again

"Clear info, but I felt a little brushed off"
Overall, my experience with Destination Big Bear was good. The messages were clear, and before check-in I usually knew exactly what I needed to do next, which made the cabin stay a lot less stressful. I did reach out with a small question and while they replied fairly quickly, the response felt a bit short, like they were just trying to move me along rather than really answer me. Not a huge deal, but I did feel a little dismissed in that moment...

"Outdoor areas could’ve been cleaner"
Well... the inside was fine, but the outdoor areas definitely needed more attention. The deck was dirty, and there was some trash around the yard, which made the place feel a bit less cared for.

"Parking was a little tricky"
The cabin itself was nice, but the parking situation was kind of hard to describe until you’re actually there. We had two cars, and getting in and out was tight, especially with snow along the side. We had to be really careful parking and still sort of felt like we were in the way. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it definitely would’ve been helpful to know more about it before we arrived.

"Wish I’d known the deposit would be such a hassle"
The cabin itself was fine, but I kind of regret not asking more about the security deposit before booking. It took way too long to get it back, and I had to message them twice just to get vague answers. The stay wasn’t terrible, but dealing with that after checkout was really annoying.

"Really comfy little mountain cabin"
We stayed in a cabin we found through destinationbigbear.com for the weekend, and it was such a cozy spot. At first I thought it was just going to be your average rental, but no, it actually felt really clean, warm, and homey. The beds were super comfortable, the heater worked great, and the couch was exactly where we ended up after a long day out. It felt like being at home, except better in a way, since you’re tucked up in the mountains.

"Perfect Big Bear Spot for My Trip"
I really liked this cabin’s location. It was close enough to the lake and town that I could easily get to food, shops, and anything I needed, but it still felt quiet when I wanted to relax. For what I was looking for, it worked out really well, and I’d definitely stay around that area again.
